In the marketplace list, we have to scroll through a lot of names we've already seen before and probably aren't interested in, to find the new listings or price changes that might interest us. It'd be really handy to be able to blacklist/archive a given name so that it doesn't appear in usual listings so that we can have an easier time getting to what we want to make decisions about.

When I click to view more list items in the marketplace view, often I see the same items that I've already scrolled past, which is frustrating and tedious.
I believe the code that updates the list views isn't doing any sort of de-duplication at render time, but it should.

Would a "New Listings" section help accomplish this goal as well? Or do you think that being able to hide listings provides additional utility that a new listings section wouldn't provide?

Tieshun Roquerre: I think it would help some, but hiding names I don't want to see anymore would be a more ideal solution IMO, since I find that I like to browse the complete list from time to time and give some consideration to even older names that I may have forgotten about or may have new ideas about. Also prices can be updated so I have names I want to keep an eye on when the price updates, in case it suddenly becomes affordable for me to consider buying. Screening "definitely not interested" names from the list would help with all of that for me.
